             abstract = "A computational analysis has been performed in order to 
                         investigate the impact of the presence of gaps and variations on 
                         the vehicle nose radius in the flowfield structure, as well as on 
                         the aerodynamic properties of hypersonic vehicles in atmospheric 
                         reentry at different altitudes. The calculations were performed 
                         with a computational model that takes into account the effects of 
                         thermodynamic non-equilibrium. A detailed description of the 
                         impact on the flow structure - velocity, density, pressure and 
                         temperature - as well as on aerodynamic properties - number flux, 
                         heat transfer, pressure and skin friction - is presented for 
                         various sections of the vehicle due to variations in the gap ratio 
                         (L/H) and nose ratio (R), for altitudes (A) of 100, 90 and 80 km. 
                         For the conditions investigated, the analyzes showed that the gap 
                         presence caused a small influence on the flowfield structure and 
                         that a single vortex inside the gap for all gap ratio (L/H) 
                         investigated was formed, thus demonstrating that the flow topology 
                         inside the gap for transition flow regime differs from the flow 
                         topology present for the continuum flow regime. In addition, as 
                         the vehicle becomes more aerodynamic, i.e., with the decrease in 
                         vehicle nose radius (R), disturbances in the flow structure around 
                         the vehicle are smaller and larger are the heat and pressure loads 
                         inside the gap. RESUMO: Uma an{\'a}lise computacional foi 
                         realizada com o objetivo de examinar o impacto da presen{\c{c}}a 
                         de filetes e da varia{\c{c}}{\~a}o do raio de curvatura do bordo 
                         de ataque na estrutura do escoamento, bem como nas propriedades 
                         aerodin{\^a}micas na superf{\'{\i}}cie de ve{\'{\i}}culos 
                         hipers{\^o}nicos na reentrada atmosf{\'e}rica para diferentes 
                         altitudes. Os c{\'a}lculos foram realizados com um modelo 
                         computacional que leva em conta os efeitos do 
                         n{\~a}o-equil{\'{\i}}brio termodin{\^a}mico. Uma 
                         descri{\c{c}}{\~a}o detalhada do impacto sobre a estrutura do 
                         escoamento - velocidade, massa espec{\'{\i}}fica, press{\~a}o e 
                         temperatura - bem como sobre as propriedades aerodin{\^a}micas - 
                         fluxo molecular, transfer{\^e}ncia de calor, press{\~a}o e 
                         atrito - {\'e} apresentada para diversas se{\c{c}}{\~o}es do 
                         ve{\'{\i}}culo devido {\`a}s varia{\c{c}}{\~o}es nas 
                         raz{\~o}es largura-profundidade (L/H) do filete e raz{\~o}es do 
                         bordo de ataque (R) para as altitudes (A) de 100, 90 e 80 km. Para 
                         as condi{\c{c}}{\~o}es investigadas, as an{\'a}lises mostraram 
                         que a presen{\c{c}}a do filete causou uma pequena influ{\^e}ncia 
                         na estrutura do escoamento e que um {\'u}nico v{\'o}rtice no 
                         interior do filete para todas as raz{\~o}es de (L/H) investigadas 
                         foi formado, demonstrando ent{\~a}o que a topologia do escoamento 
                         no interior do filete para regime de transi{\c{c}}{\~a}o difere 
                         da topologia do escoamento presente para o regime do 
                         cont{\'{\i}}nuo. Al{\'e}m disso, a medida que o 
                         ve{\'{\i}}culo se torna mais aerodin{\^a}mico, isto {\'e}, com 
                         a diminui{\c{c}}{\~a}o do raio de curvatura do bordo de ataque 
                         (R), as perturba{\c{c}}{\~o}es na estrutura do escoamento ao 
                         redor do ve{\'{\i}}culo s{\~a}o menores e maiores s{\~a}o as
